AUSTIN — The Texas Young Republican Federation released the following statement today regarding the Supreme Court’s ruling overturning Roe v. Wade.
“The Texas Young Republican Federation celebrates the Supreme Court’s historic decision to overturn Roe v. Wade and return the power to protect the unborn to the people and the states.
“We also applaud the foresight of the Texas Legislature and leaders across the state for House Bill 1280, which will effectively ban abortion in Texas 30 days from today. The state of Texas is a pro-life sanctuary.
“We will continue to advocate for the life of the unborn and against organizations like Planned Parenthood, which engage in multi-million dollar efforts to turn states like Texas blue.”
