TEXAS YOUNG REPUBLICAN LEGISLATIVE PRIORITIES

The Texas Young Republicans routinely survey our membership to determine what they think should be priority items of the Texas Legislature. They address important issues in Texas. At the TYRF 2018 Convention, we passed a resolution with these 2019 legislative priorities:

• Adopt constitutional carry while maintaining optional licensing for reciprocity purposes;
• Adopt the Prenatal Non-Discrimination Act, while continuing to work toward the ultimate goal of
  ending all abortion;
• Abolish civil asset forfeiture and to ensure private property only be forfeited upon a criminal
  conviction
